For many years, I just took photos and played with them in PhotoShop, often wondering why bother with painting when PS was so great. Then one day I decided to get back into painting. The lessons I had as a child were fun, I guess, but I did not like it when my teacher painted on my canvas to show me a technique. But that was just me, sassy little kid.

Now I enjoy trying my hand at oils, acrylic and the unforgiving watercolors.  It definitely is therapeutic and relaxing. About 99% of my paintings come from my photographs. I still enjoy photography. Which is my favorite? I really can't say as both are fun for me.
