About Jesse Conner
Art came to my family while I was very young, when I saw my Dad teaching my brother how to shade letters so that the shadows would lean at the proper angles I became obsessed with the possibilities of what you can do with a simple pencil either by pressing harder for darker shadows or barely touching for lighter ares and so on. From there art for me started, and over the years my mom may tell anyone I drove her nuts and probably had/ have the largest collection of pens, pencils, crayons or markers of anyone she has ever met. Through middle and high school I was home-schooled and college was spent earning a degree in medical assisting (and drawing every spare moment I had). As a self developed artist I have never had any formal lessons or classes on proper instruction, history or any of the such. My inspiration comes from vision, what I see, what I think I can draw that other people may like to see, and a lot of the time inspiration is derived from a dream or thought I’ve had.
My main hobby is photography and as a member of the Camera Club I have taken some workshops that continue to help me see the light, and I'm working on" learning myself how to paint" so that I can apply the same effects of what I see through a camera lens to what I can make my paintbrush or pencil do to look like how I saw it first. Please enjoy.
